This will be a Christmas like no other, with everything that has happened in 2020 are you ready for it?
It is hard to know what to be ready for in many ways as its all different, but one thing is for sure and thats online and digital will surpass previous years. Even local retailers have small ecommerce websites to sell their produce.
Now it might be too late to build an ecommerce website ready for Christmas but it's not too late to get your house in order, so to speak.
Is your website ready?
Have you got all the right communications on your website for customers? Do they know when you are open, changes to processes, extra things you are doing/not doing etc? If not get it up and let them know.
Does your website look festive? If not make it look festive, people love Christmas so show that your are involved. You don't need a web design company to help you put some new images on your website, so get to it. If you do need a hand though we are happy to help.
If you have an ecommerce website does it have all your Christmas stock and is it all easy to find? Do you have updated Christmas delivery times loaded?
Have you communicated?
Lets say your website is now ready, that's great but have you told anyone? Have you spread the word on Social Media that you have Christmas stock in and that you have your delivery times loaded? Have you created new menus for the cafe? Have you sent out a newsletter to your appropriate customers with updates on?
From comments and articles I have read some people might be looking to plan and purchase earlier this year, as they are have to do most of their shopping online rather than going into the shops. So get ready, communicate and ensure you are ready before the customer goes to another company.
Print & Design
One last note - if you have design work needed and printing that has to be organised then I suggest you get this underway as well. You don't want to get rushed at the last moment or in a position that means you can't have what you want. Book in your designer and get your print jobs organised. You don't want to be disappointed.
If we can help with anything just let me know.
